Let us now continue with our next stage along the cosmic calendar and timetable, which brings us to another cosmic event called Logboomer. Very few Israelites today even know about Logboomer in general. And unfortunately, I must add, there are very few even observant Israelites who understand the inner and deeper significance of this awesome holiday. In fact, it is not classified as a holiday. The significance of Lagboam is generally connected with and associated with a Tana, the author of the Zohar, Rabishimon Bar Yohai, who passed on in this day of the thirty-third day in the Omar. And along with his passing has come many narrations, stories, and fables to which we can still kindle the fire of the importance of Log Bomer. One of these stories relates to the horrible Holocaust that took place during the period of Omar and during the destruction of the Holy Temple too, wherein twenty-four thousand, I repeat, twenty-four thousand students of Rabbi Akiva, the famous Rabbi Akiva, suffered a horrible death. They were inhumanely slaughtered. I might also add that the Talmud, in discussing this period of the Holocaust, the Talmud provides the reason and the cause why such a Holocaust of such dimensions could take place in the first place. These were giants of people, scholars, and you're going to be awfully surprised to learn that the Talmud states the reason for this Holocaust was due to the effect of Shina. Hatred for no reason. For no reason. One could not tolerate or sympathize with his fellow colleague. Can you imagine? The Talmud does not declare that they were irreligious people, they were idol worshippers, they were murderers, they desecrated the entire Ten Commandments. No, some very obscure precept. They couldn't tolerate each other. There was no Viahahthaladeha Komochab amongst them. And because of this one simple precept, insignificant precept mentioned in Leviticus, which brought on a horrible Holocaust involving so many scholars, twenty-four thousand. Twenty four thousand. Discussing again a tragic period for the generation of the wilderness, the generation of the Exodus, where they began to sin. And when Pinhas, the son of Elazab, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from the midst of the congregation and took a spear in his hand. And he went after the man of Israel into his chamber and thrust both of them through the man of Israel and the woman through her belly. And so the plague was stayed from the children of Israel, and those that died by the plague were twenty four thousand. You might almost think it was a coincidence. But that's an awful coincidence, twenty-four thousand. It is like this figure of six million Jews, six hundred thousand Israelites, and throughout that biblical cosmic code, that sum of six hundred thousand or six million or six thousand always seems to crop up. No, I couldn't take the story of in numbers as a coincidence, and in fact, neither does Rabbi. Because he does not treat the Bible as a collection of narrations and tales. No, in his gates of reincar in meditation, he goes on to explain that the reason of twenty-four stems from one of those manifested channels by which the force became revealed. The word Elohim. As you know, there are varied and numerous channels by which the force of the Lord becomes revealed. Sometimes it is through mercy, the tetragrammaton, and other times through the word Elohim. There are five Hebrew letters that make up this channel. And by now I'm certain that you do not treat words in the Bible lightly nor insignificantly. This word deals with din, with judgment. And continues the Ari on page 191 of his gates of meditation. There are twenty four different combinations of this awesome word. In other words, you have Aleph Lamed, Heyudmem, as the word appears in the Bible, but then you can shift and create twenty-four different combinations with these five letters. As an example, we can place the Lamed before the Aleph and spell it as Lamed Aleph, Heyudmem, etc. 24. And inasmuch as the channel begins with the Hebrew letter Aleph, and in the power of the Aleph, you will learn what that word and letter means, but suffice to say that letter Aleph also means eleph, thousand. And therefore, when the epitome of negativity prevails in the universe, it becomes manifested as twenty four thousand. And therefore it was not a mere coincidence or by chance that the Bible in Numbers chapter twenty five has nothing else to do with its ink but to state how many died in that plague. In fact, they call it a plague. It was not a plague. It was murder. No, it was a plague. And that plague was the dark Lord making use of that word, Elohim, following instructions and reigning death on twenty-four thousand Israelites in the wilderness. That same dark Lord followed instructions during the Holocaust of the Second Temple, in which twenty-four thousand students, Tanaim, the level of consciousness that these students possessed, according to Rabishimon Bariohai, will never make its appearance until the age of Aquarius. But this was the state of intelligent consciousness that prevailed. And during the Omer, and during the Omer, this is the time for the Dark Lord to follow instructions. So that negative energy intelligence will prevail throughout throughout the entire cosmos. In fact, during this period of Omar, weddings are forbidden to be consummated. One should not purchase a new home. One should not enter into a new venture, because every new beginning is a new opening. Beginning and opening mean on a physical, physical metaphysical level, the very same thing. And if at that point in time, cosmically, negative energy intelligence prevails, the last thing anyone would want to do is begin a venture, opening the door and permitting this awesome negative energy to become part and parcel of that venture. It's just not worth it. And on Lagba Umer, the thirty-third day in the Omer, something happened. Traditionalists will tell you that maybe Shimon passed away. Now, is that to be considered a holiday? And that's what stayed the plague. No, I'm sorry to say, we're referring to tabalistically to a cosmic timetable. Unfortunately, the power of this day is completely neglected. And to provide you with a living experience, following this tape in our series of presenting, redirection, and rethinking to the biblical cosmic code, you will actually have the opportunity to participate, go back in time, and of course back to the future. To change your life, change your destiny, make things happen. Like the Bible says, you can choose life. If you believe in the Bible, then you can believe in this. It should provide and assist you in improving your mental as well as physical well-being. Because we're dealing with cosmic forces. And it is only on that celestial level that the Kabbalah can assure you that what the Bible stated, that you can choose life and things will go well for you, in spite of a poor track record. Things can change, and hopefully they will. And therefore, what we are referring to, Alagba Omer, is of course, you guessed it, a cosmic intelligence with a cosmic timetable. On that particular day, we are dealing with the spira, the bottled up energy of Hud Shebahud. It is that day that on a metaphysical level, completion takes place. As you remembered when we referred to Yesud of Hesed that brought this great cosmic dramatic event of the splitting of the Red Sea. Another cosmic intelligence is here to provide us with assistance in changing things. Malchut, Sheba Malchut of Shvot, was the physical manifestation which brought about the period of deprivation of life, the prevailing of din. However, as in all matters concerning our terrestrial realm, things have long started before they became physically manifested. And so, where does that completion take place? The completion of Shvot on a metaphysical level, that happens in Hod Shivahod. In fact, as you will hear later on, it was Rebish Shimon that chose that particular day to leave. And I leave that discussion for the following tape. However, the plague of the 24,000 students of Rabativa did not end. And therefore the holiday is a beautiful holiday. No. It was the cosmic event of Hor She Bahud that brought an end to the plague. And not because the plague ended, and therefore. We must stop dealing with effects. We must stop relating to a temple as the reason for Jerusalem being the holy city. We must stop understanding that the seventh day of Passover is a holiday. Because the Red Sea was split on that day. No, the splitting of the Red Sea is an effect. The cessation of the plague during the Holy Temple Holocaust was an effect. There was a more important, more significant force that brought about this cosmic event, the cessation of a plague. Nothing on a physical level creates holidays. It is the fruit that had long been cast in the sea. This is new thinking, I know it. But in the age of Aquarius, we had better begin thinking along those terms. And so Ribbi Shimon chose that day, having nothing to do with the plague, but rather having to do with this awesome tapping of power. And when that power became manifest, when that light became manifest, the period of deprivation of light, darkness, came to an end no less than when one strikes a match in a dark room and suddenly the darkness disappears. Hot She Bahod. The end of suffering. The potential conclusion. And I say potential because Hot She Bahod deals with the frame of reference of metaphysics. Thought intelligence. It is high time that the religious establishment. Turn spirituality to what they call religion. Logbomer is one such significant date in our cosmic timetable to assure you that the great sage and Kabbalist, Rabbi Zakluria, along with his student, Rabbi Hayabitao from Damascus, placed a great deal of importance to this day and its connection with Rabbi Shimon. I quote from his gates of meditation, page 191, that it was a tradition for Israelites to go on Lagbaomer, on the grave of Rabbi Shimon Ba Yohai, and his son Rebalazah. And they used to drink and eat and be merry. And Rabbi Vital continues that I saw my teacher, who once went there on Lagba Omer with his entire family, and sat there three full days. And Rabbihay Vital continues that he remembers the great Kabbalist Jonathan Shagish, who told him that Rabbi Zakluria brought his small son with his entire family, and there, after the traditional three-year waiting of cutting of hair, cut his own son's hair as it is a normal tradition. The tradition of cutting a child's hair after three years have gone by. And I do not want to, at this point, to discuss the reasons why we do not cut the hair of a child until after he has passed the three-year period, but it has something to do with the opening of the fontanal, that opening on the top of the head. The Kabbalah is beautiful. Rabbi Haim Vital relates another story of another famous Kabbalist, Avramalevi, who shared his own personal experience with Rabbi Haim Vital when he told them that one year he too went to visit on Lag Bomer, the grave site of Rabishimon. And it was tradition with him that during his prayers he would recite a prayer that is usually recited on Tishabah because this was a day of great mourning. The great light, Rabbi Shimon, had passed on. And after he completed his Amida prayer, Rabbi Zakluria said, I saw the form of Rabishimon by your heart. He was standing on his tomb, and he said, Rabbi Isaac, tell this man, Abraham a Lid, why does he say Nahim Bion Simhatin? Why does he console in a day of such festivity? And therefore, in the days ahead, within a month's time, he will unfortunately have to be consoled, for one of his sons will die, and he will then be consoled. Bikibela Lav Tanhumim. Unfortunately, but as we express ignorance as no excuse, ignorance of the law does not prevent a summons. Let us begin to understand the spiritual internal meaning of that cosmic timetable. For this very reason, did Rebishimon choose this day, and I say choose this day to leave the physical realm of reality. He is very much alive and with us each and every single day. On Lac Boomer, if you've never been to Moran, you might be disappointed, and then again you might be impressed. On the eve of Logba Omer, you can witness over one hundred thousand predominantly Spartim attending this great and joyous and festive event. However, you might also be disappointed that this same Spartac tradition, so revered and yet has lost the internal aspect of its significance. You might be disappointed in not even observing three individuals having a Zohar or another book of Kabbalah studied on that particular day. You might have expected that on the one day, the one day of the year, that everyone should participate in the study of Kabbalah, you see over one hundred thousand people gathering to revere the individual to whom his importance to the world was his furnishing us with that most important study, the Zor, to provide us with the cosmic table, the cosmic attachment, and yet the day that he chose to leave, so that he can provide us with an assistance mechanism, and when the Bible says, Uvachata Bikhayim, that you can choose life, that our well-being is going to be assured. It is a tragic event, but at the same time, let us remember that for those who are fortunate in understanding the importance of this particular day, Horde Shebahod, will reap the benefit of Jiribishimon choosing to leave on this particular day.
